Take a break from music, and check out a panel discussion. "Building A Local Music Scene" will get back to the roots of what makes the Boise music scene tick. Panelists will talk about how new artists can take their act public, and why all-ages shows are important to the local music scene. The hour-long discussion starts at 12:30 p.m. at 1401 W. Idaho Street.

Discover Grandma Kelsey and what she calls her "psycho adorable" sound this afternoon. She plays at The Crux at 4:00 p.m. Check out her Studio 208 Session performance at KBSX.

And riding the wave of national acclaim over his second album, Youth Lagoon will perform on the mainstage at 5:30 p.m. Boisean Trevor Powers will be joined on-stage by his full band before he continues his spring tour.

Dan Deacon will take the mainstage at 8:30 p.m. to fill the headliner spot left by Animal Collective. The group canceled their performance because of illness. Treefort organizers say Deacon is well up to delivering a headlining show.

And if you're looking for a late night performance, make sure to hear enigmatic rapper Brother Ali. He  performs at 11:45 p.m. at The Reef. The Minneapolis native will likely touch on social and political issues during his set.
