UPDATE, Wed. 3:37 p.m. - Until we can get the T-1 to KBSS sorted out, listeners in the Wood River Valley can now pick up KBSW off of 100.3 (K262BZ) and 93.5 (K228DO).
UPDATE, Wed. 2:13 p.m. - Our engineer in the field is having trouble keeping the circuit up. We've made another call to our provider and are waiting for word. As it stands now, it seems to be an intermittent problem, coming back up for an hour or so and then dropping out again. We will continue to update as the status develops.
UPDATE, 3:01 p.m. - Our engineer in the field has determined the issue is with the T-1 circuit going to Sun Valley to the transmitter. We will not be able to access the KBSS site until tomorrow morning, as they are shutting down the Sun Valley ski hill at 4 p.m. today.
Around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning our engineers confirmed that KBSS is off the air. The transmitter is on and operating normally, but we are having an issue with getting programming to it. At first glance, it appears to be a T-1 issue. We have staff on the way to the site to look into it.
