Update July 19: We resolved a lightning-caused problem in the microwave system at the Salmon site, and the station returned to the air at approximately 11:00 a.m. today.
Original Post: Boise State Public Radio stations in Salmon (91.9 fm) and Challis (89.7 fm) are currently off the air.
The translator in Salmon was hit by a major lightning strike last night.
Our engineers are en route to the translator to assess the damage and make repairs.
We hope to have both stations back on the air as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can always listen live online.
