Police have identified the driver of a Porsche that plowed into a crowd of spectators at an Idaho car show as Roy L. Drennon of Eagle, Idaho.

Eleven people were injured in the crash on Saturday.

Boise Police Lt. Charles LeBar said at the time that the driver was "kind of showing off for the crowd" and lost control of the vehicle as he left a "Cars and Coffee" event in Boise. The car jumped the curb and collided with several spectators.

Police haven't released the condition of those who were injured.

An Idaho man was sentenced to one year in jail after he was found guilty of causing a crash that killed a 64-year-old driver.

The Idaho Press-Tribune reports 22-year-old Tyler Callahan of Weiser received his sentence Tuesday for one count of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. A judge says Callahan's jail sentence could be modified during a review hearing in September.

An Idaho driver who fled the scene after striking a man and his two daughters as they were walking — killing the father — was sentenced Monday to serve up to one year in a "rider" prison rehabilitation program.

Tristian Donovan Myers, 20, pleaded guilty in March to one count of felony leaving the scene and one count of misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.

A Jerome, Idaho man died after crashing into a vehicle that had broken down on Interstate 84.

KTVB-TV reports the crash happened 9 p.m. Saturday.

Idaho State Police say an SUV became disabled when the driver hit an object in the road. The SUV came to a rest partially in the left lane of travel.

All four people in the SUV, including two children, were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Sometime later, Cody R. Mays was driving on the interstate when he struck the disabled SUV.

Law enforcement officials say an Idaho man was flung 50 feet into the Snake River and forced to swim to a nearby island after being struck by a vehicle on a bridge.

Oregon State Police say that 34-Steven Arrasmith, of Mesa, Idaho, was traveling Monday on Interstate 84 before stopping between the Idaho and Oregon border to offer assistance to a driver who had lost control on black ice and crashed into a bridge.

According to OSP, a third vehicle then lost control on the ice and struck Arrasmith's Jeep. Arrasmith was flung off the bridge when the Jeep lurched forward.

The Idaho Transportation Department says the number of crashes involving teen drivers is on the rise.

The Post Register reports that in every category of crashes tracked by the department, the number involving teens increased between 2014 and 2015.

According to the department, drivers aged 15 to 19 were two-and-a-half times more likely to be involved in a crash.

Fatalities were up 70 percent from 2014, and serious injury crashes rose by 36 percent statewide.

A California man who went missing while traveling from his summer job in Idaho to the University of Montana died in a car crash northeast of Boise.

Custer County Coroner Vicki Armbruster says 21-year-old Lucius Robbi of Orleans, California, died on Aug. 19 of blunt force trauma that happened when his car went off Highway 21 and down a 60-foot embankment.

A private helicopter hired to join the widespread search for Robbi spotted the tip of a kayak in the trees near the Stanley Lake turnoff on Thursday.

Icy And Snowy Conditions On Southeastern Idaho Roads

Drivers in southeastern Idaho are dealing with icy and snowy road conditions today. A fatal accident on a bridge near American Falls involved a semi and two passenger vehicles, killing one. At least four other accidents or slide-offs are reported by Idaho State Police in Pocatello.
