Florida State Agrees To Play In Boise In 2020

Boise State has once again announced a home game with an opponent from the Atlantic Coast Conference.  ACC member Florida State will play the Broncos in a series scheduled to start in six years. Today’s  announcement comes a week after Boise State announced a series with Virginia.

Northwest Utilities Target Football Fans With New Efficiency Campaign

An alliance of Northwest power utilities kicked off a campaign this month to curb energy use by college football fans.

The energy efficiency campaign is called “Are You Fan Enough.” It gives people the chance to win a furnished tailgate party and a new energy efficient TV.

Ty Stober is the initiative lead for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. He explains that nearly half of the TV’s in the U.S. are older tube based models.

Boise State Football’s Move To Big East Still Likely

In two years, the college football postseason will be getting an overhaul.  The Bowl Championship Series will disappear in favor of a small playoff.  The change is expected to benefit Boise State, and could also affect the school's planned moved to the Big East Conference. 

On Tuesday, college presidents approved a set of rules that will mean four teams -  instead of two - will get a chance to compete for the national championship, starting with the 2014 season.

College Of Idaho Wants To Restart Football Team

College football will soon return to Caldwell.   College of Idaho officials announced Monday they’ll reinstate a team to begin conference play in the Fall of 2014.    The private liberal arts school hopes football will bring it more attention.
