Throughout her nearly 40 year career, she’s been an author, late night TV personality, and actress. Ahead of her appearance in Boise Saturday night, Matt Guilhem spoke to Poundstone about her lengthy career, getting her start and Idaho.

Later today, Boise State University will host a reception to introduce one of its newest employees. Tom Michael moved to Boise in July to become the next general manager at Boise State Public Radio.

Michael’s resume includes an 11-year stint at Marfa Public Radio – an NPR affiliate he founded in remote west Texas.
