Paula Jensen

Administrative Traffic Manager

Paula "PJ" Jensen joined Boise State Public Radio in January 2013 after working in commercial broadcasting for more than 40 years.  PJ began her career at a TV station in South Dakota in 1970, but moved to radio a year later.  In 1972 she and her husband moved to Boise where she went to work for KFXD-AM, the powerhouse of Idaho at the time. In the mid 80s she went to work for Sundance Broadcasting, which eventually became Clear Channel, and are now owned by Townsquare Media. In 1999 PJ moved to Journal Broadcast Group where she was radio traffic manager until her move to Boise State Public Radio in 2013.  PJ is delighted to be a part of public radio, and is enjoying the challenge of learning the differences between commercial radio and public radio. She and her husband live in Boise.
